In 2000, we proudly adopted the name MDA Professional Group, P.C., symbolizing our evolution and enduring commitment to excellence.

Since 1975, MDA has acquired or merged with a dozen other firms, expanding our impact and enhancing our service offerings.

Our mission is clear: to ensure the quality of our accounting work through continuous education and support for our team, thereby driving success for our clients.

With locations in Albertville (1975), Fort Payne (1977), Gadsden (1996), Anniston (2016), Roanoke (2019), and Huntsville (2019), we proudly serve clients across North Alabama.

Currently composed of 10 shareholders and more than 50 employees, our firm boasts a team of experienced professionals dedicated to delivering unparalleled service.

Five of our shareholders have served as Chairman of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and one shareholder has served as Chairman of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

MDA’s CPAs participate in the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Peer Review Program. The purpose of a peer review is to evaluate the firm’s audit and accounting practices and to ensure that our systems and procedures are in full compliance with AICPA professional standards. This program is required to be completed by an independent evaluator every three years.
